🔹 The legal age to get married for males is minimum 21 years, and for females, it is 18 years.

🔹 For a mandatory 30-day period the notice is published which is open for any objections to the marriage. If no objections are raised during this period, the couple can proceed with the marriage.

🔹 After the expiration of the notice period, the couple can solemnize their marriage. They can do it by either a civil ceremony or a religious ceremony. The marriage must be registered within 30 days of the solemnization.

🔹 In India same sex marriage is legally not allowed.
🔹 There should be an interpreter if the couple cannot understand it fully in English or Hindi or any local Indian language.
